Aciphex Fall Reviews
Tue, 19 May 2009 |
I am a 28 year old female who was diagnosed 3 years ago with a hiatal hernia, 9 stomach ulcers and constant gastritis. They put me on Aciphex. I have been on it ever since as it is the only thing that stops the pain. Just recently (within the past year... I developed vitamin deficiencies. First... Iron deficiency anemia. I was treated with iron pills three times a day and my iron finally became normal. I have been off iron for 2 months and I am deficient again!! I started devleoping extreme fatigue, pins and needles, and muscle aches. They sent me to a rheumatologist thinking I had fibromylagia. After a series of test...the discovered my vitamin D was at a 1 and the deficiency caused osteomalacia (a softening of bones)I now have to take vitamin D for three months. But I am afraid that this is going to keep happening. The elvels will go up but then drop again. I used to run five miles a day and be very active. I can no longer do the things I like to do. I am still taking the Aciphex as the pain of the ulcers is still in the back of my mind. I don't want to go through that again. But I dont want these deficieny's either. I just want to be healthy. |
