  • Gait Disturbance
  • Vomiting
  • Acidosis
  • Hyperkalaemia
  • Renal Impairment
  • Lactic Acidosis
Drugs used concurrently:
  • Atorvastatin
  • Isosorbide Mononitrate
  • Aspirin
  • Although Adizem demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Hyperkalaemia, may still occur.

    This Rhabdomyolysis problem was reported by a health professional from UNITED KINGDOM. A 7-year-old patient (weight: NA) was diagnosed with the following medical condition(s): NA.On Apr 01, 2009 a consumer started treatment with Adizem-sr (dosage: NA). The following health products were being taken at the same time:
  • Citalopram Hydrobromide
  • Simvastatin (40mg-daily-oral)
  • Lisinopril
  • When commencing Adizem-sr, the patient experienced the following unwanted symptoms /side effects:
    • Chest Pain
    • Rhabdomyolysis
    • Sinus Arrhythmia
    The patient was hospitalized. Although all health products are carefully tested before they are licensed for use, they carry potential side effect risks. Some side effects, such as Rhabdomyolysis, may become evident only after a product is in use by the general population.

  • Simvastatin (40mg-daily-oral)
  • Lisinopril
  • Soon after that, the subject experienced the following of symptoms:
    • Chest Pain
    • Rhabdomyolysis
    • Sinus Arrhythmia
    The patient was hospitalized. This opens a possibility that Adizem-sr could cause Sinus Arrhythmia and that some subjects may be more susceptible.
