This case suggests a potential Berodual Blister side effect(s) that can have serious consequences. A 77-year-old patient from GERMANY (weight:NA) was diagnosed with the following health condition(s): chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,pain and used Berodual (dosage: 2 Df, Bid) starting Jul 17, 2004. Soon after starting Berodual the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Blister
  • Lip Erosion
  • Nikolsky's Sign
  • Pruritus
  • Rash
  • Stevens-johnson Syndrome
  • Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis
Drugs used concurrently:
  • Tramal (30 Drp, Qd)
  • Potassium Chloride (2 Df, Tid)
  • Aldactone (100 Mg, Qd)
  • Acercomp (1 Df, Qd)
  • Nebilet (Up To 10 Mg/day)
  • Lopirin (25 Mg, Bid)
  • Lopirin (25 Mg, Qd)
  • Pulmicort (1 Df, Bid)
  • The patient was hospitalized. Although Berodual demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Blister, may still occur.

    Adverse event was reported on Feb 24, 2012 by a male taking Berodual (Dosage: NA) . Location: GERMANY , 53 years of age, weighting 180.8 lb, Directly after treatment started, patient experienced the unwanted or unexpected Berodual side effects: bursitis.
    Associated medications used:
    • Methotrexate
    • Prednisone Tab
    • Folic Acid
    • Actemra (Last Dose Prior To Sae: 17 Jan 2012)
    The patient was hospitalized.

    Dyspnoea, Oedema Peripheral, Skin Haemorrhage, Haemoptysis

    This Dyspnoea problem was reported by a physician from GERMANY. A patient (weight: NA) was diagnosed with the following medical condition(s): NA.On Jan 13, 2012 a consumer started treatment with Berodual (dosage: NA). The following health products were being taken at the same time:
  • Glimepirid
  • Digoxin
  • Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate
  • Simvastatin
  • Viani Forte (Strength: 50/500mcg)
  • Amilorid Hct
  • Spiriva
  • Dipyrone Tab
  • When commencing Berodual, the patient experienced the following unwanted symptoms /side effects:
    • Dyspnoea
    • Oedema Peripheral
    • Skin Haemorrhage
    • Haemoptysis
    Although all health products are carefully tested before they are licensed for use, they carry potential side effect risks. Some side effects, such as Dyspnoea, may become evident only after a product is in use by the general population.

    A case of a 77-year-old patient (weight: NA) from GERMANY was presented. The patient developed the following symptoms/conditions: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,pain and was treated with Berodual (dosage: 2 Df, Bid) starting Jul 17, 2004. Concurrently used drugs:
  • Tramal (30 Drp, Qd)
  • Potassium Chloride (2 Df, Tid)
  • Aldactone (100 Mg, Qd)
  • Acercomp (1 Df, Qd)
  • Nebilet (Up To 10 Mg/day)
  • Lopirin (25 Mg, Bid)
  • Lopirin (25 Mg, Qd)
  • Pulmicort (1 Df, Bid)
  • Soon after that, the subject experienced the following of symptoms:
    • Blister
    • Lip Erosion
    • Nikolsky's Sign
    • Pruritus
    • Rash
    • Stevens-johnson Syndrome
    • Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis
    The patient was hospitalized. This opens a possibility that Berodual could cause Lip Erosion and that some subjects may be more susceptible.

    on Feb 08, 2008 a male from GERMANY , 77 years of age, was diagnosed with and was treated with Berodual. Directly after treatment started, patient experienced the unwanted or unexpected Berodual side effects: blister, lip erosion, nikolsky's sign, pruritus, rash, stevens-johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Berodual dosage: 2 Df, Bid.
