Soon after starting Betamethasone the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Localised Oedema
  • Tongue Oedema
  • Erythema
  • Angioedema
Drugs used concurrently:
  • Lisinopril (5mg/day)
  • Atenolol (100mg/day)
  • Although Betamethasone demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Erythema, may still occur.

The following health products were being taken at the same time:
  • Eksalb
  • Docetaxel (Infusion)
  • When commencing Betamethasone, the patient experienced the following unwanted symptoms /side effects:
    • Decreased Appetite
    • Malaise

Soon after that, the subject experienced the following of symptoms:
    • Hiccups
    • Dyspnoea
    • Cough
    • Respiratory Distress
    • Respiratory Failure
    • Pneumonia
    • Respiratory Arrest
    • Hyponatraemia
    • Unevaluable Event
    The patient was hospitalized. This opens a possibility that Betamethasone Sodium Phosphate could cause Dyspnoea and that some subjects may be more susceptible.
