Colgate Aphthous Stomatitis Causes and Reviews

A fever is a body temperature that is higher than normal. A normal temperature can vary from person to person, but it is usually around 98.6 F. A fever is not a disease. It is usually a sign that your body is trying to fight an illness or infection.

Infections cause most fevers. You get a fever because your body is trying to kill the virus or bacteria that caused the infection. Most of those bacteria and viruses do well when your body is at your normal temperature. But if you have a fever, it is harder for them to survive. Fever also activates your body's immune system.

Other causes of fevers include

  • Medicines, including some antibiotics, blood pressure medicines, and anti-seizure medicines
  • Heat illness
  • Cancers
  • Autoimmune diseases
  • Some childhood immunizations

Treatment depends on the cause of your fever. If the fever is very high, your health care provider may recommend taking an over-the-counter medicine such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Adults can also take aspirin, but children with fevers should not take aspirin. It is also important to drink enough liquids, to prevent dehydration.

The Philips Sonicare Essence electric can remove 80% of tobacco, coffee and tea. No manual toothbrush can do the same.

Every time I use Colgate Total, my mouth ends very dry and I get a dry cough, it is very annoying. I found out because I never buy it but my brothers do and in several ocassions that I visited them after brushing my teeth I got those reactions, cough and very dry mouth. About 2 weeks ago I bought Colgate Total and as soon as I started using it I got the same reaction. I am not sure if it is the Triclosan........

Ive been using Colgate optic white and felt like it was too strong; so I alternated with Colgate total. I've used them for about 4 weeks. Last week I began with burning in my mouth and it developed into blisters and constant discomfoort. I went to the dr. And she gave me a round of oral steroid. I took my last one last night and my mouth is already flaring up. I would like to know how to treat this if it's from the toothpaste . Thank u!
