Warfarin 4 Mg-8 Mg Medical Research Studies

Up-to-date List of Warfarin 4 Mg-8 Mg Medical Research Studies

What Research is Being Done?

A clinical study involves research using human volunteers (also called participants) that is intended to add to medical knowledge. There are two main types of clinical studies: clinical trials (also called interventional studies) and observational studies. Following list includes both interventional and observational studies.

Rank Status Study
1 Recruiting Evaluation of the Accuracy of the Hemochron Signature Elite Point of Care Device Compared With Laboratory Assay
Condition: Blood Coagulation Tests
Outcome Measure: The International Normalised Ratio (INR) will be measured by the laboratory assay and the Hemochron Signature Elite device.
2 Recruiting Pre-hospital Anti-fibrinolytics for Traumatic Coagulopathy and Haemorrhage (The PATCH Study)
Conditions: Wounds and Injuries;   Acute Coagulopathy
Interventions: Drug: Tranexamic Acid;   Drug: Placebo
Outcome Measures: The proportion of patients with a favourable outcome (moderate disability or good recovery, GOSE scores 5-8) compared to those who have died (GOSE 1), or have severe disability (GOSE 2-4).;   Units of blood products used (red blood cells, plasma, platelets, prothrombin complex concentrate, fibrinogen, Factor VIIa, cryoprecipitate);   Coagulation assessed using the International Normalised ratio (INR);   Coagulation assessed by activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT);   Platelet count;   Vascular occlusive events (myocardial infarction, stroke, deep venous thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolus (PE));   Ventilator-free days;   Mortality;   Proportion of deaths due to bleeding, vascular occlusion (pulmonary embolus, stroke, acute myocardial infarction), multi-organ failure, or head injury;   Cumulative incidence of sepsis;   Pain measured using the modified Brief Pain Inventory (mBPI);   Quality of life measured using the 12-item short form health survey (SF12®);   Quality of life measured using the EuroQOL 5 dimensions questionnaire (EQ-5D);   Number of participants with serious adverse events;   Coagulation assessed by fibrinogen
3 Recruiting Comparison of Three Transfusion Strategies for Central Venous Catheterization in Cirrhotics
Condition: Liver Cirrhosis
Interventions: Other: Coagulogram-based protocol;   Other: Thromboelastometry-based protocol;   Other: Restrictive strategy
Outcome Measures: Proportion of patients submitted to blood components transfusion - i.e. fresh frozen plasma, platelets and/or cryoprecipitate - before central venous catheterization;   Incidence of hemorrhagic complications associated to central venous catheterization procedure;   Incidence of acute immunologic and non-immunologic adverse effects of blood transfusion;   Costs assessments (laboratory and blood transfusion) between the three strategies;   Length of stay in ICU;   Length of stay in hospital;   Mortality rate

These studies may lead to new treatments and are adding insight into Warfarin 4 Mg-8 Mg etiology and treatment.

A major focus of Warfarin 4 Mg-8 Mg research is the development of new drugs and other treatment options. Studies seek to identify new drugs to treat various related disorders and to find safer, more effective doses for medications already being used. Other research is aimed at identifying receptors or drug targets.
