This information will help you understand how side effects, such as Acidosis, can occur, and what you can do about them.

A side effect could appear soon after you start Dopamine or it might take time to develop.

Acidosis, Coagulopathy, Intraventricular Haemorrhage, Liver Injury, Hypertension, Accidental Overdose

This Acidosis side effect was reported by a health professional from US. A patient (weight:NA) experienced the following symptoms/conditions: NA. The patient was prescribed Dopamine Hydrochloride (dosage: NA), which was started on NS. Concurrently used drugs:
  • Tpn/00897001/
When starting to take Dopamine Hydrochloride the consumer reported the following symptoms:
  • Acidosis
  • Coagulopathy
  • Intraventricular Haemorrhage
  • Liver Injury
  • Hypertension
  • Accidental Overdose
The patient was hospitalized. These side effects may potentially be related to Dopamine Hydrochloride.
Peripheral Circulatory Failure, Hyperthermia, Acidosis, Musculoskeletal Stiffness, Blood Creatine Phosphokinase Increased

This Acidosis Dopamine Hcl side effect was reported by a health professional from JAPAN on Mar 20, 2012. A male , weighting 105.8 lb, was diagnosed with and was treated with Dopamine Hcl. The patient presented the following health conditions:
  • Peripheral Circulatory Failure
  • Hyperthermia
  • Acidosis
  • Musculoskeletal Stiffness
  • Blood Creatine Phosphokinase Increased
. Dopamine Hcl dosage: 3-5 Microg/kg/min X 1. Additional drugs used at the same time:
  • Diazepam
  • Sevoflurane (1-3% X 1)
  • Precedex (Infusion)
  • Dobutamine Hcl (3-5 Microg/kg/min X 1)
  • Fentanyl (20-60 Microg/hr X 1)
  • Rocuronium Bromide
Acidosis, Airway Peak Pressure Increased, Anuria, Cardiac Arrest, Condition Aggravated, Hypoperfusion, Loss Of Consciousness

This is a Dopamine Hydrochloride side effect report of a 35-year-old female patient (weight:NA) from INDIA, suffering from the following symptoms/conditions: NA, who was treated with Dopamine Hydrochloride (dosage:10 Ug/kg/min Intravenous Drip, start time: NS), combined with:
  • Epinephrine (0.05 Ug/kg/min, Intravenous Drip)
  • Norepinephrine (0.05 Ug/kg/min, Intravenous Drip)
  • Dobutamine Hcl (5 Ug/kg/min, Intravenous Drip)
  • Vasopressin (6 U/h, Intravenous Drip)
, and developed a serious reaction and a Acidosis side effect. The patient presented with:
  • Acidosis
  • Airway Peak Pressure Increased
  • Anuria
  • Cardiac Arrest
  • Condition Aggravated
  • Hypoperfusion
  • Loss Of Consciousness
which developed after the beginning of treatment. This side effect report can indicate a possible existence of increased vulnerability to Dopamine Hydrochloride treatment in female patients suffering from NA, resulting in Acidosis.

Dopamine Acidosis Causes and Reviews

You have two kidneys, each about the size of your fist. They are near the middle of your back, just below the rib cage. Inside each kidney there are about a million tiny structures called nephrons. They filter your blood. They remove wastes and extra water, which become urine. The urine flows through tubes called ureters. It goes to your bladder, which stores the urine until you go to the bathroom.

Most kidney diseases attack the nephrons. This damage may leave kidneys unable to remove wastes. Causes can include genetic problems, injuries, or medicines. You have a higher risk of kidney disease if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, or a close family member with kidney disease. Chronic kidney disease damages the nephrons slowly over several years. Other kidney problems include

  • Cancer
  • Cysts
  • Stones
  • Infections

Your doctor can do blood and urine tests to check if you have kidney disease. If your kidneys fail, you will need dialysis or a kidney transplant.
