The following Dopamine Blood Pressure Decreased side effect reports were submitted by healthcare professionals and consumers.

This information will help you understand how side effects, such as Blood Pressure Decreased, can occur, and what you can do about them.

A side effect could appear soon after you start Dopamine or it might take time to develop.

Blood Pressure Decreased, Device Malfunction, Mean Arterial Pressure Decreased

This Blood Pressure Decreased side effect was reported by a consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES. A 74-year-old female patient (weight:NA) experienced the following symptoms/conditions: mean arterial pressure. The patient was prescribed Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose (dosage: ;continuous;ivdri), which was started on Sep 08, 2010. Concurrently used drugs: NA. When starting to take Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose the consumer reported the following symptoms:
  • Blood Pressure Decreased
  • Device Malfunction
  • Mean Arterial Pressure Decreased
These side effects may potentially be related to Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose.
Nausea, Blood Albumin Decreased, Arteriosclerosis Coronary Artery, Diastolic Dysfunction, Snoring, Gastritis, Blood Pressure Decreased, Electrocardiogram T Wave Abnormal, Electrocardiogram St-t Change

This Blood Pressure Decreased Dopamine Hcl side effect was reported by a consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Apr 27, 2011. A Female , 76 years of age, weighting 130.0 lb, was treated with Dopamine Hcl. The patient presented the following health conditions:
  • Nausea
  • Blood Albumin Decreased
  • Arteriosclerosis Coronary Artery
  • Diastolic Dysfunction
  • Snoring
  • Gastritis
  • Blood Pressure Decreased
  • Electrocardiogram T Wave Abnormal
  • Electrocardiogram St-t Change
. Dopamine Hcl dosage: NA. Additional drugs used at the same time:
  • Gentamycin Sulfate
  • Darvocet
  • Aldactone
  • Brethine
  • Lovenox
  • Coreg
  • Vasotec
  • Ambien Cr
The patient was hospitalized.
Blood Pressure Decreased, Device Failure

This is a Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose side effect report of a 61-year-old patient (weight:NA) from UNITED STATES, suffering from the following symptoms/conditions: cardiac operation, who was treated with Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose (dosage:;continuous; Iv, start time: Apr 06, 2007), combined with:
  • Epinephrine (5.4 Ml/hour; Continuous; Iv)
  • Norepinephrine Bitartrate (;continuous; Iv)
  • Hetastarch 6% In 0.9% Sodium Chloride In Plastic Container
  • Nitroglycerin
  • Sodium Nitroprusside
  • Metoprolol Succinate
  • Ondansetron
  • Prochlorperazine
, and developed a serious reaction and a Blood Pressure Decreased side effect. The patient presented with:
  • Blood Pressure Decreased
  • Device Failure
which developed after the beginning of treatment. This side effect report can indicate a possible existence of increased vulnerability to Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose treatment in patients suffering from cardiac operation, resulting in Blood Pressure Decreased.

Blood Pressure Decreased

A 61-year-old patient (weight: NA) from UNITED STATES with the following symptoms: cardiac operation started Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose treatment (dosage: ;continuous;iv) on Apr 06, 2007. Soon after starting Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose treatment, the consumer experienced several side effects, including:
  • Blood Pressure Decreased
. Concurrently used drugs:
  • Epinephrine (5.4 Ml/hour;continuous;iv)
  • Norepinephrine (;continuous;iv)
  • Hetastarch 6% In 0.9% Sodium Chloride In Plastic Container
  • Nitroglycerin
  • Sodium Nitroprusside
  • Metoprolol
  • Ondansetron
  • Prochlorperazine
This finding indicates that some patients can be more vulnerable to developing Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose side effects, such as Blood Pressure Decreased.
Blood Pressure Decreased, Device Malfunction

A female patient from UNITED STATES was prescribed and started Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose on Aug 31, 2007. Patient felt the following Dopamine side effects: blood pressure decreased, device malfunction Additional patient health information: Female , 13 years of age, The consumer reported the following symptoms: . Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose dosage: NA. Concurrently used drugs: NA.
Blood Pressure Decreased, Device Failure, Incorrect Dose Administered

This report suggests a potential Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose Blood Pressure Decreased side effect(s) that can have serious consequences. A 57-year-old patient from UNITED STATES (weight:NA) was diagnosed with the following health condition(s): hypotension, cardiac output, vascular resistance systemic, cardiac operation and used Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose (dosage: NA) starting Jun 01, 2007. Soon after starting Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Blood Pressure Decreased
  • Device Failure
  • Incorrect Dose Administered
Drugs used concurrently:NA. Although Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Blood Pressure Decreased, may still occur.
Blood Pressure Decreased, Device Failure

An adverse event was reported by a consumer or non-health professional on Jul 12, 2007 by a male taking Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose (dosage: NA) . Location: UNITED STATES , 68 years of age, patient began experiencing various side effects, including: Directly after treatment started, patient experienced the unwanted or unexpected Dopamine side effects: blood pressure decreased, device failure. Additional medications/treatments:
Associated medications used:

  • Epinephrine
  • Levophed
When commencing Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose, the patient experienced the following unwanted symptoms /side effects:
  • Blood Pressure Decreased
  • Device Failure
Although all drugs are carefully tested before they are licensed for use, they carry potential side effect risks. Some side effects, such as Blood Pressure Decreased, may become evident only after a product is in use by the general population.

Dopamine Blood Pressure Decreased Causes and Reviews

You've probably heard that high blood pressure is a problem. Sometimes blood pressure that is too low can also cause problems.

Blood pressure is the force of your blood pushing against the walls of your arteries. Each time your heart beats, it pumps out blood into the arteries. Your blood pressure is highest when your heart beats, pumping the blood. This is called systolic pressure. When your heart is at rest, between beats, your blood pressure falls. This is the diastolic pressure. Your blood pressure reading uses these two numbers. Usually they're written one above or before the other, such as 120/80. If your blood pressure reading is 90/60 or lower, you have low blood pressure.

Some people have low blood pressure all the time. They have no symptoms and their low readings are normal for them. In other people, blood pressure drops below normal because of a medical condition or certain medicines. Some people may have symptoms of low blood pressure when standing up too quickly. Low blood pressure is a problem only if it causes dizziness, fainting or in extreme cases, shock.
