This Mitral Valve Incompetence side effect was reported by a pharmacist from JAPAN. A 79-year-old patient (weight:NA) experienced the following symptoms/conditions: NA. The patient was prescribed Dopamine Hcl (dosage: NA), which was started on Feb 02, 2011. Concurrently used drugs:
  • Methylprednisolone Sodium Succinate
  • Famotidine
  • Heparin
  • Rocuronium Bromide (250 Mg, Indrp)
  • Sevoflurane (Inh)
  • Milrila
  • Propofol (2750 Mg, Indrp)
  • Ultiva
When starting to take Dopamine Hcl the consumer reported the following symptoms:
  • Oedema
  • Cardio-respiratory Arrest
  • Multi-organ Failure
  • Oxygen Saturation Decreased
  • Mydriasis
  • Mitral Valve Incompetence
  • Melaena
  • Rhabdomyolysis
The patient was hospitalized. These side effects may potentially be related to Dopamine Hcl.

A male , 70 years of age, was diagnosed with and was treated with Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose. The patient presented the following health conditions:
  • Cardiac Hypertrophy
  • Left Ventricle Outflow Tract Obstruction
  • Mitral Valve Incompetence
. Dopamine Hcl In 5% Dextrose dosage: NA. Additional drugs used at the same time:
  • Norepinephrine Bitartrate

This is a Dopamine side effect report of a 63-year-old female patient (weight:NA) from SPAIN, suffering from the following symptoms/conditions: haemodynamic instability,hypotension,sinus tachycardia, who was treated with Dopamine (dosage:NA, start time: NS), combined with: NA., and developed a serious reaction and a Mitral Valve Incompetence side effect. The patient presented with:
  • Left Ventricle Outflow Tract Obstruction
  • Mitral Valve Incompetence
which developed after the beginning of treatment. This side effect report can indicate a possible existence of increased vulnerability to Dopamine treatment in female patients suffering from haemodynamic instability,hypotension,sinus tachycardia, resulting in Mitral Valve Incompetence.
