A 88-year-old female patient from AT (weight:NA) was diagnosed with the following health condition(s): NA and used Ebetrexat (dosage: 15 Mg, Per Day) starting NS. Soon after starting Ebetrexat the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Multi-organ Failure
  • Overdose
Drugs used concurrently:NA. Although Ebetrexat demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Multi-organ Failure, may still occur.

Acute Coronary Syndrome, Angiogram, Stent Placement

This Acute Coronary Syndrome problem was reported by a health professional from AT. A 74-year-old patient (weight: NA) was diagnosed with the following medical condition(s): rheumatoid arthritis.On 2006 a consumer started treatment with Ebetrexat (dosage: 20 Mg, Qw). The following health products were being taken at the same time:
  • Aprednislon (5 Mg, Qd)
  • Remicade (300 Mg, Q2mo)
  • When commencing Ebetrexat, the patient experienced the following unwanted symptoms /side effects:
    • Acute Coronary Syndrome
    • Angiogram
    • Stent Placement

    A case of a 79-year-old female patient (weight: NA) from AT was presented. The patient developed the following symptoms/conditions: rheumatic disorder,amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,myalgia and was treated with Ebetrexat (dosage: 2 Df, Unk) starting Mar 31, 2013. Concurrently used drugs:
  • Rilutek (1 Df, Bid)
  • Novalgin (20 Gtt, Prn)
  • Thrombo Ass (1 Df, Qd)
  • Euthyrox (0.5 Df, Qd)
  • Sortis (1 Df, Qd)
  • Tresleen (1 Df, Qd)
  • Xalacom (1 Df, Both Sides)
  • Folsan (1 Df, On Tuesday)
  • Soon after that, the subject experienced the following of symptoms:
    • Thrombocytopenia
    • Mucosal Inflammation
    • Leukopenia
    • Pyrexia
    • C-reactive Protein Increased
    • Rash
    • Skin Lesion
    • Overdose
    The patient was hospitalized. This opens a possibility that Ebetrexat could cause Leukopenia and that some female subjects may be more susceptible.

Directly after treatment started, patient experienced the unwanted or unexpected Ebetrexat side effects: leukopenia, multi-organ failure, pancytopenia, sepsis, thrombocytopenia. Ebetrexat (ngx) dosage: 30 Mg, Qw.
    Associated medications used:
    • Novalgin /sch/ (500 Mg, Tid)
