This case suggests a potential Glargine Insulin Blood Glucose Decreased side effect(s) that can have serious consequences. A patient from UNITED STATES (weight:NA) was diagnosed with the following health condition(s): hyperglycaemia and used Glargine Insulin (dosage: 21 Units Sq Qhs) starting Oct 19, 2009. Soon after starting Glargine Insulin the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Blood Glucose Decreased
  • Blood Glucose Increased
  • Night Sweats
Drugs used concurrently:
  • Aspart Insulin (6 Units Sq Tid Ac)
  • Apap Tab
  • Amiodarone Hcl
  • Bisacodyl
  • Cefepime
  • Cetirizine
  • Diltiazem
  • Diphenhydramine Docusate
  • The patient was hospitalized. Although Glargine Insulin demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Blood Glucose Decreased, may still occur.

  • Humalog (2 Units With Meals With Meals Sq)
  • Acetaminophen
  • Maalox Fast Blocker
  • Carvedilol
  • Digoxin
  • Diltiazem Hcl
  • Rnoxaparin
  • Lexapro
  • Soon after that, the subject experienced the following of symptoms:
    • Blood Glucose Fluctuation
    • Cold Sweat
    • Confusional State
    • Hyperhidrosis
    • Hypoglycaemia
