I was placed on plavix after a pfo closure surgery. I have felt depressed and have experienced crying spells. Its very unlike my personality. The more people I talk to the more common it seems to be a serious issue.

In 2001 I had heart attack and I was found to have 3 major blockages in my heart arteries.I was offered three choices ie. medication ,stent,or bypass surgery.I opted for a stent and i was put on medication ie. plavix 75mg,caprin 75mg,.lipos

54y/o, WM, Status post quadruple coronary artery bypass graft surgery(10 months ago). Surgery went well, only complication was a pretty large left pleural effusion requiring chest tube placement. Resolved well, no further problems

Doctor give me Pletaal 100 mg 2 times /daily... after I had stent in my artery..side effect that I feel : fluctuation of the heart beat (faster than usual and more tense/stronger tense) an ligt head paint and it last for more than 2 hours. After rep

Had two stents put in 3 months ago after a clot in my artery and some narrowing of another artery and feeling fine. One week ago started to get strange feeling of warmth/flush/glow in my stomach and my hands went warm. This kept me from falling asleep

HI just looking for information on brain aneurysm. I was just diagnosed with 2mm at internal carotid artery and opthalmic branch and they are telling me to just watch it and live my life.

I am a 41yo female. I have been taking PLETAL for about 4 weeks for treatment of a blocked artery in my rt leg. I think it is supposed to help with the pain in my calf. I am due to have my IUD removed, it is in sideways and my OBGYN expects complicat

I am taking Betaloc 50 g.since last 11 years for treatment of coronary artery disaese with Hypertension. It has done nice to me without any problem. Since it is cardioseective, it has no adverse effect on respiratory system or any side effecct related

I had a headache and horners syndrome initially thought to be infection. One month later diagnosed with right internal carotid artery dissection. Currently on coumadin and bp meds to keep pressure down. I have a 4 mm pseudoaneurysm. Its been 1 month

I had sugery in June for a clogged artery in my neck..it was 75% blocked..I waitress and do lots of heavy lifting all day..I am hurting really a lot when I get off..I am 58 and waitressed for 35 years. I am diabetic and have high blood pressure..It i

CORONARY ARTERY OCCLUSION Clinical Trials and Studies

Treatments might be new drugs or new combinations of drugs, new surgical procedures or devices, or new ways to use existing treatments. The goal of clinical trials is to determine if a new test or treatment works and is safe. Clinical trials can also look at other aspects of care, such as improving the quality of life for people with chronic illnesses. People participate in clinical trials for a variety of reasons. Healthy volunteers say they participate to help others and to contribute to moving science forward. Participants with an illness or disease also participate to help others, but also to possibly receive the newest treatment and to have the additional care and attention from the clinical trial staff.
