HYPONATRAEMIA Symptoms and Causes

Table salt is a combination of two minerals - sodium and chloride Your body needs some sodium to work properly. It helps with the function of nerves and muscles. It also helps to keep the right balance of fluids in your body. Your kidneys control how much sodium is in your body. If you have too much and your kidneys can't get rid it, sodium builds up in your blood. This can lead to high blood pressure. High blood pressure can lead to other health problems.

Most people in the U.S. get more sodium in their diets than they need. A key to healthy eating is choosing foods low in sodium. The Dietary Guidelines recommend that most adults eat less than 2.3 grams per day. That equals about 1 teaspoon of table salt a day. Some people are more sensitive to the effects of salt than others and should eat less. This includes people who have high blood pressure, diabetes, or kidney problems, or are African-American or over age 50. Reading food labels can help you see how much sodium is in prepared foods.

Doctors are told what to prescribe and its ridiculous because they don't test enough on the medication. Pharmaceutical companies want to get a patent asap so its an automatic billion in the bank because of the 18 year patent law.

Does Lyrica really cause weight gain in all patients who take it

Drowsiness, double vision, weight gain

Earlier this month I started Lyrica. Was on only 50mh pr night for 4 nights before I had an allergic reation. Had to stop taking it, took over a week for the allergic symptoms to stop! Just reported to the FDA.

I took Trileptal for about a week. I then was diagnosed with hyponatraemia and was hospitalized for 3 days. This was one of the most scary experiences in my life - I thought I was dying :'(

That seems pretty quick for hyponatraemia to be induced, but everyone is different. At first you may expect a headache and it may take a month or more to tolerate it, if you can. I don't think that it's for me. If you ever get really intoxicated

HYPONATRAEMIA Clinical Trials and Studies

Treatments might be new drugs or new combinations of drugs, new surgical procedures or devices, or new ways to use existing treatments. The goal of clinical trials is to determine if a new test or treatment works and is safe. Clinical trials can also look at other aspects of care, such as improving the quality of life for people with chronic illnesses. People participate in clinical trials for a variety of reasons. Healthy volunteers say they participate to help others and to contribute to moving science forward. Participants with an illness or disease also participate to help others, but also to possibly receive the newest treatment and to have the additional care and attention from the clinical trial staff.
