This case suggests a potential Inexium Agranulocytosis side effect(s) that can have serious consequences. A 71-year-old patient from FR (weight:NA) was diagnosed with the following health condition(s): NA and used Inexium (dosage: NA) starting Dec 29, 2013. Soon after starting Inexium the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Serratia Bacteraemia
  • Agranulocytosis
Drugs used concurrently:
  • Cefotaxime (Daily)
  • Lovenox
  • Medrol
  • Cardensiel
  • The patient was hospitalized. Although Inexium demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Agranulocytosis, may still occur.

    • Neoral (50 Mg In The Morning And 75 Mg In The Evening)
    • Rovalcyte (1 Df Every 2 Weeks)
    • Rovalcyte (Treatment With Rovalcyte Was Decrease To 2 Intake Per Week)
    • Rovalcyte (Dose Was Reincreased.)
    The patient was hospitalized.

    This Thrombocytopenia problem was reported by a physician from FR. The following health products were being taken at the same time: NA. When commencing Inexium, the patient experienced the following unwanted symptoms /side effects:

    • Thrombocytopenia

  • Plavix
  • Tahor
  • Cardensiel
  • Burinex
  • Esidrex
  • Diffu K
  • Cordarone
  • Kardegic
  • Soon after that, the subject experienced the following of symptoms:
    • Eosinophilia
    • Acute Coronary Syndrome
    • Cardiac Failure
    • Shock
    • Toxic Skin Eruption
    • Renal Failure
    • Rash Maculo-papular
    The patient was hospitalized. This opens a possibility that Inexium could cause Eosinophilia and that some subjects may be more susceptible.
