This case suggests a potential Lactomin Alopecia side effect(s) that can have serious consequences. A female patient from JAPAN (weight:NA) was diagnosed with the following health condition(s): crohn's disease and used Lactomin (dosage: NA) starting Apr 27, 2011. Soon after starting Lactomin the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Renal Impairment
  • Alopecia
  • Rash
Drugs used concurrently:
  • Ferrous Fumarate
  • Maltose/lactated Ringer's Solution
  • Dipyridamole
  • Antibiotics-resistant Lactic Acid Bacteriae
  • Sodium Bicarbonate/anyhydrous Monobasic Sodium Phosphate
  • Tribenoside/lidocaine
  • Famotidine
  • Famotidine
  • Although Lactomin demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Alopecia, may still occur.

    • Ferrous Fumarate
    • Maltose/lactated Ringer's Solution
    • Dipyridamole
    • Antibiotics-resistant Lactic Acid Bacteriae
    • Sodium Bicarbonate/anyhydrous Monobasic Sodium Phosphate

    Renal Impairment, Alopecia, Rash

    This Renal Impairment problem was reported by a physician from JAPAN. A female patient (weight: NA) was diagnosed with the following medical condition(s): crohn's disease.On Apr 27, 2011 a consumer started treatment with Lactomin (dosage: NA). The following health products were being taken at the same time:
  • Ferrous Fumarate
  • Maltose/lactated Ringer's Solution
  • Dipyridamole
  • Antibiotics-resistant Lactic Acid Bacteriae
  • Sodium Bicarbonate/anyhydrous Monobasic Sodium Phosphate
  • Tribenoside/lidocaine
  • Famotidine
  • Famotidine
  • When commencing Lactomin, the patient experienced the following unwanted symptoms /side effects:
    • Renal Impairment
    • Alopecia
    • Rash
    Although all health products are carefully tested before they are licensed for use, they carry potential side effect risks. Some side effects, such as Renal Impairment, may become evident only after a product is in use by the general population.

    Cholelithiasis, Abdominal Pain

    A case of a patient (weight: NA) from JAPAN was presented. The patient developed the following symptoms/conditions: disbacteriosis,crohn's disease,diarrhoea,folate deficiency,gastrooesophageal reflux disease and was treated with Lactomin (dosage: 6 Gram Daily) starting Mar 24, 2011. Concurrently used drugs:
  • Humira
  • Natural Aluminun Silicate (3 Gram Daily)
  • Folic Acid (15 Mg Daily)
  • Omeprazole (20 Milligram)
  • Domperidone (30 Mg Daily)
  • Humira
  • Mesalamine (300mg Daily)
  • Humira
  • Soon after that, the subject experienced the following of symptoms:
    • Cholelithiasis
    • Abdominal Pain
    The patient was hospitalized. This opens a possibility that Lactomin could cause Abdominal Pain and that some subjects may be more susceptible.

    White Blood Cell Count Decreased, Hyperkalaemia, Anaemia, Neutrophil Count Decreased, Renal Disorder, Platelet Count Decreased

    on Aug 11, 2011 a male from JAPAN , weighting 116.8 lb, was treated with Lactomin. Directly after treatment started, patient experienced the unwanted or unexpected Lactomin side effects: white blood cell count decreased, hyperkalaemia, anaemia, neutrophil count decreased, renal disorder, platelet count decreased. Lactomin dosage: NA.
    Associated medications used:
    • Sulfamethoxazole And Trimethoprim
    • Acyclovir
    • Granisetron Hydrochloride
    • Treanda
    The patient was hospitalized.
