After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: face oedema, oedema peripheral, pulmonary oedema. ACTOS dosage: 15 MG (15 MG, 1 IN 1 D) PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with GLYBURIDE, NEUQUINON, TAGAMET, EPADEL, PRELAZINE. Male patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with ACTOS. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: agitation, apnoea, atrial fibrillation, atrioventricular block first degree, bundle branch block right, cardiac failure chronic, cardiac hypertrophy, cardiovascular insufficiency, confusional state. ACTOS dosage: 30 MG (30 MG, 1 IN 1 D) PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID, DELUMO, GLIMEPIRIDE CT, METFORMIN, MOBLOC, PENTAERYTHIRITOL TETRANITRATE, SIMVASTATIN. Patient died.

Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with insulin-requiring type ii diabetes mellitus and was treated with ACTOS. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: back pain, bile duct stone, cholelithiasis. ACTOS dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZOCOR, NOVO, MOBIC, ADALAT, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, GLYBURIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
