Aliskiren Side Effects Report #5304115-5
Physician from INDIA reported ALISKIREN problem on Apr 10, 2007. Male patient, 56 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with essential hypertension and was treated with ALISKIREN. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood sodium decreased, disease progression, electrolyte imbalance, grand mal convulsion, tongue biting. ALISKIREN dosage: 300 MG, + 25MG HCTZ. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
