Physician from JAPAN reported AMANTADINE problem on Dec 25, 2006. Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinsonism and was treated with AMANTADINE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: bedridden, cerebral infarction, coma, dementia, gait disturbance, lacunar infarction, myoclonus, pyrexia. AMANTADINE dosage: 300 MG, QD, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
