After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: atrioventricular block complete, atrioventricular block second degree, cerebellar atrophy, cerebral calcification, dyspnoea exertional. CARBAMAZEPINE dosage: 100 MG BID. Patient recovered.

Consumer or non-health professional from GERMANY reported CARBAMAZEPINE problem on May 25, 2007. Female patient, 70 years of age, was treated with CARBAMAZEPINE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, no therapeutic response. CARBAMAZEPINE dosage: 500MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ALPRAZOLAM, MELPERONE, DIAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

CARBAMAZEPINE problem was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on June 13, 2007. Female patient, 21 years of age, weighting 158.5 lb, was treated with CARBAMAZEPINE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: dysphagia, stevens-johnson syndrome. CARBAMAZEPINE dosage: 200MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with AMITRIPTYLINE, GABAPENTIN, AMANTADINE, BACLOFEN, INTERFERON BETA, TRINESSA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
