Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM reported CEFALEXIN problem on Apr 17, 2007. Female patient, 14 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection and was treated with CEFALEXIN. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: dehydration, haemolytic anaemia, renal tubular necrosis. CEFALEXIN dosage: 250 MG. During the same period patient was treated with TRIMETHOPRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection and was treated with CEFALEXIN. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: erythema, headache, joint swelling, oedema peripheral, pain, pallor. CEFALEXIN dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CODEINE PHOSPHATE, DUTASTERIDE, NIQUITIN, NITROFURANTOIN, TAMSULOSIN HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient recovered.
