CIPROFLOXACIN problem was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Jan 08, 2008. Male patient, 25 years of age, was diagnosed with chest discomfort, pain in extremity, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia and was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: agitation, pyrexia, sepsis, vanishing bile duct syndrome, vomiting. CIPROFLOXACIN dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN, IBUPROFEN, COMBIVIR, EFAVIRENZ, COTRIM, NEVIRAPINE, TENOFOVIR, LAMIVUDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
