Health Professional from TURKEY reported Clarithromicina side effect on Aug 13, 2007. Female patient, 65 years of age, was treated with Clarithromicina. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aplastic anaemia, biopsy bone marrow abnormal, cardio-respiratory arrest, pancytopenia, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Clarithromicina dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CEFTAZIDIME PENTAHYDRATE, METHYLPREDNISOLONE, IMIPENEM, AMIKACIN SULPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Male patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with acne What is acne and was treated with Clarithromicina. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. Clarithromicina dosage: 250 MG, BID,. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN PENSA, LUCEN. Patient recovered.
