My daughter takes this medication for Tourette Syndrome, she's been taking it for about 3 months, and we have not seen any change in her at all. She is 6 years old and she hasn't had even a little imporovement. She is also on Atarax for Allergies and nervousness, so I'm not sure if it's the Atarax or Risperdone that makes her sleepy. I know it's a side effect on both. She takes them both twice a day
