Health Professional from GERMANY reported Digitoxin side effect on Aug 28, 2007. Female patient, 75 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with helicobacter gastritis, hypertension, trigeminal neuralgia
, arthralgia and was treated with Digitoxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia haemolytic autoimmune, antibody test positive, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, c-reactive protein increased, coombs test positive, haemoglobin decreased, haptoglobin decreased, hyperbilirubinaemia, jaundice . Digitoxin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, VITAMIN B, SICCAPOS GEL, INFLUENZA VACCINE, VOLTAREN, DICLOFENAC, IBUPROFEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL TARTRATE, ASS SANDOZ, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, PIPAMPERONE, RAMIPRIL, ZOLPIDEM, RIVASTIGMINE TARTRATE. Patient was hospitalized. and was treated with Digitoxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, c-reactive protein increased, cardiomegaly, cognitive deterioration, crepitations, dehydration, dementia , dilatation ventricular, ejection fraction decreased. Digitoxin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, SOMAC, DETROL, TEGRETOL, HEMINEVRIN, ALBYL, SELOZOK. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
