Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM reported FAMCICLOVIR problem on Aug 23, 2007. Male patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with herpes zoster, psoriasis, hypertension, hiatus hernia and was treated with FAMCICLOVIR. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: balance disorder, confusional state, convulsion, tremor. FAMCICLOVIR dosage: 750 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with AZATHIOPRINE, CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, OMEPRAZOLE, SIMVASTATIN, ADIZEM, ASPIRIN. Patient recovered.

FAMCICLOVIR problem was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 26, 2007. Male patient, 58 years of age, was diagnosed with cytomegalovirus chorioretinitis and was treated with FAMCICLOVIR. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: rash pruritic, urticaria. FAMCICLOVIR dosage: 500MG TID PO. Patient recovered.
