Physician from FRANCE reported FANSIDAR problem on May 31, 2007. Male patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with malaria and was treated with FANSIDAR. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: cholestasis, haemolytic anaemia, interstitial lung disease, renal failure acute. FANSIDAR dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ARTEMETHER. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
