Consumer or non-health professional from BRAZIL reported Ferriprox side effect on May 12, 2008. Female patient was diagnosed with thalassaemia beta and was treated with Ferriprox. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatitis infectious, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging abnormal, transaminases abnormal. Ferriprox dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DESFERAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
