Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES reported GASTROGRAFIN problem on May 10, 2007. Female patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with intestinal obstruction, diagnostic procedure and was treated with GASTROGRAFIN. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, aspiration, septic shock. GASTROGRAFIN dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BARIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
