Physician from BRAZIL reported GENOTROPIN problem on June 29, 2006. Female patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with blood growth hormone decreased, off label use and was treated with GENOTROPIN. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: abasia, abdominal distension, arthralgia, blister, condition aggravated, constipation, fatigue, headache, impaired work ability. GENOTROPIN dosage: 0.4 MG (0.6 MG, 6 IN 1 WK), SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with SYNTHROID. Patient recovered.

Female patient, child 12 years of age, weighting 88.18 lb, was diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency and was treated with GENOTROPIN. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: neoplasm recurrence, radiation injury, spinal disorder, teratoma benign. GENOTROPIN dosage: (1.8 MG EVERY DAY) SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with VIVELLE. Patient recovered.
