Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES reported Halothane side effect on Dec 01, 2008. Female patient, child 4 years of age, weighting 79.37 lb, was diagnosed with induction and maintenance of anaesthesia and was treated with Halothane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute hepatic failure, alpha 1 foetoprotein increased, antibody test positive, asthma
, blood pressure diastolic decreased, body temperature increased, cholestasis, coagulopathy, condition aggravated. Halothane dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM, OXYGEN, ACETAMINOPHEN WITH CODEINE, BECLOMETHASONE DIPROPIONATE, ALBUTEROL, ANTIBIOTICS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol withdrawal syndrome, disorientation, grand mal convulsion. Halothane dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM. Patient recovered.
