Consumer or non-health professional from reported LEPTICUR problem on Apr 19, 2007. Male patient, 78 years of age, was treated with LEPTICUR. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: dehydration, hyponatraemia, pyrexia. LEPTICUR dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GLUCOPHAGE, HYDROCORTISONE, LOPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 55 years of age, weighting 246.9 lb, was diagnosed with parkinsonism, epilepsy, schizophrenia, convulsion, dysthymic disorder and was treated with LEPTICUR. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, coma, hyperthermia malignant, loss of consciousness, pneumonia pneumococcal, rhabdomyolysis. LEPTICUR dosage: 20 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with DITROPAN, DEPAKOTE, ZYPREXA, RIVOTRIL, DEROXAT, LEPONEX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
