Consumer or non-health professional from MALAYSIA reported Levophed side effect on Aug 23, 2006. Male patient, 63 years of age, was treated with Levophed. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, acinetobacter infection, bronchopneumonia, dry gangrene, electromechanical dissociation, enterobacter infection, hyperkalaemia, refusal of treatment by relative, renal failure acute. Levophed dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TIFACOGIN SOLUTION INFUSION, AZITHROMYCIN, HYDROCORTISONE, FUROSEMIDE, SUCRALFATE, CALCIUM GLUCONATE, AUGMENTIN. Patient died on 06/30/2006.
