Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES reported MESTINON problem on Feb 20, 2007. Male patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, herpes zoster and was treated with MESTINON. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: blood glucose increased, condition aggravated, herpes zoster. MESTINON dosage: 60 MG; PRN. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, XOPENEX, SINGULAIR, ZOCOR, DILTIAZEM, WARFARIN, DUTASTERIDE, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: acne, gastrointestinal disorder, toxic epidermal necrolysis. MESTINON dosage: 90 MG; QID; PO. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, MINOCIN, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
