Health Professional from FRANCE reported Methylergonovine side effect on Dec 10, 2007. Male patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Methylergonovine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, mitral valve incompetence, mitral valve replacement, pulmonary arterial pressure increased. Methylergonovine dosage: 0.4 MG, ONCE/SINGLE. During the same period patient was treated with ACE INHIBITOR NOS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arteriospasm coronary, blood pressure decreased, chest pain , dyspnoea, electrocardiogram st segment depression, mitral valve incompetence. Methylergonovine dosage: 0.4 MG, ONCE/SINGLE. During the same period patient was treated with BETA BLOCKING AGENTS, ANGIOTENSIN II ANTAGONISTS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Methylergonovine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SUMATRIPTAN SUCCINATE, SUMATRIPTAN SUCCINATE, VERAPAMIL, LITHIUM CARBONATE, TOPIRAMATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with post abortion haemorrhage, hypertension and was treated with Methylergonovine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , chest pain , depressed level of consciousness, myocardial infarction. Methylergonovine dosage: 0.2 MG, UNK. During the same period patient was treated with OXYTOCIN, DIOVANE, ISOPTIN. Patient died.
