Mitotane Side Effects Report #5708996-2
Pharmacist from UNITED STATES reported Mitotane side effect on Apr 16, 2008. Female patient, 65 years of age, weighting 198.4 lb, was diagnosed with adrenal carcinoma and was treated with Mitotane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adrenal carcinoma, blister, disease progression, erythema multiforme, lip erosion, wound secretion. Mitotane dosage: 2000MG QID PO. During the same period patient was treated with DECADRON, SENOKET, ENOXAPARIN, ZETIA, FENTANYL CITRATE, LASIX, ATARAX, LISINOPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Mitotane side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on June 02, 2008. Male patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with adrenal carcinoma and was treated with Mitotane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abasia, asthenia, neurotoxicity. Mitotane dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, HYDROCORTISONE, OMEPRAZOLE, ACETAMINOPHEN, SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
