Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES reported Mitoxangtrone side effect on June 11, 2007. Male patient, 29 years of age, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Mitoxangtrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myeloid leukaemia, blood potassium decreased, capillary leak syndrome, disease progression, fluid overload, leukocytosis, lung infiltration, polyneuropathy, respiratory distress. Mitoxangtrone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ARSENIC TRIOXIDE, IDARURICIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
