Physician from JAPAN reported OLMETEC problem on Dec 13, 2006. Male patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with OLMETEC. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: interstitial lung disease. OLMETEC dosage: 20 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with MOBIC, FASTIC, LIPIDIL, ARTIST, CALBLOCK. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.OLMETEC problem was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 18, 2006. Male patient, 72 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with OLMETEC. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: malaise, renal failure. OLMETEC dosage: 20 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with NORVASC. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
