Physician from TAIWAN, PROVINCE OF CHINA reported PENTOTHAL problem on Mar 20, 2007. Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 134.5 lb, was diagnosed with induction of anaesthesia and was treated with PENTOTHAL. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: hypotension. PENTOTHAL dosage: 10 ML, NOT REPORTED, EPIDURAL. During the same period patient was treated with PROPOFOL, LIDOCAINE, FENTANYL, ROCURONIUM, DESFLURANE. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 26 years of age, weighting 179.0 lb, was diagnosed with coma, convulsion prophylaxis and was treated with PENTOTHAL. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: febrile neutropenia, infection, intracranial pressure increased, no therapeutic response. PENTOTHAL dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PHENYTOIN, PROPOFOL, FENTANYL, NOREPINEPHRINE BITARTRATE, INSULIN, ROCURONIUM. Patient recovered.
