My legs swelled up sooo bad and haven't gone down since giving birth on Tuesday [today being Sunday] what can i do it's very painful and my doc says it's normal this can't be right! | |

In 2004 pitocin was used to speed delivery. Immediately, my legs burned with pain. I had to get an epidural to bear it. My legs swelled the next day and I had to wear air pressure cuff on my legs for two days while in the hospital. | |

Physician from INDIA reported PITOCIN problem on Jan 18, 2007. Female patient was diagnosed with labour induction and was treated with PITOCIN. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: acute pulmonary oedema, blood ph decreased, blood pressure increased, central venous pressure increased, crepitations, dyspnoea, face oedema, heart rate increased, hyponatraemia. PITOCIN dosage: 2 MLU/MIN INCREASED BY 2MIU/MIN Q30 MIN UP TO 64 MIU/MIN. Patient recovered.
