Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES reported Procainamide side effect on July 23, 2007. Female patient, 66 years of age, weighting 173.0 lb, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation What is atrial fibrillation, heart rate decreased and was treated with Procainamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depression What is depression, lupus-like syndrome. Procainamide dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Procainamide side effect was reported by a Physician from CANADA on July 22, 2008. Female patient was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation What is atrial fibrillation and was treated with Procainamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brugada syndrome. Procainamide dosage: unknown. Patient died.
