Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES reported PURINETHOL problem on Aug 18, 2006. Male patient, 26 years of age, was diagnosed with crohn's disease  and was treated with PURINETHOL. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: anaemia, histiocytosis haematophagic, leukopenia, tuberculosis . PURINETHOL dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AZATHIOPRINE, REMICADE, CORTICOSTEROIDS. Patient died.

PURINETHOL problem was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SWITZERLAND on June 29, 2007. Female patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with crohn's disease , asthma  and was treated with PURINETHOL. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: premature baby. PURINETHOL dosage: 50MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with SERETIDE, PREDNISONE, SEROPRAM, COLECALCIFEROL, DAFALGAN. Patient recovered.
