Female patient, weighting 22.00 lb, was diagnosed with malaria prophylaxis and was treated with PYRIMETHAMINE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: cerebral atrophy, cerebral malaria, confusional state, gastrointestinal disorder, grand mal convulsion, hyperthermia. PYRIMETHAMINE dosage: 50 MG / PER DAY /. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

PYRIMETHAMINE dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZIDOVUDINE, LAMIVUDINE, INDINIVIR SULPHATE, CLINDAMYCIN. Patient recovered.
