Quinineection Side Effects Report #5374092-X
Physician from SOUTH AFRICA reported QUININEECTION problem on June 18, 2007. Male patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with malaria and was treated with QUININEECTION. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: blood pressure decreased, body temperature decreased, confusional state, dizziness, dyspnoea, face injury, fall, headache, speech disorder. QUININEECTION dosage: 600MG X 1 DOSE, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ARTESUNATE, LACTATED RINGER, AMOXICILLIN TRIHYDRATE, PARACETAMOL. Patient died.
