Pharmacist from UNITED STATES reported SALSALATE problem on Jan 22, 2007. Male patient, 49 years of age, weighting 231.5 lb, was diagnosed with back pain and was treated with SALSALATE. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: renal failure acute. SALSALATE dosage: 750MG Q8 H PRN PO. During the same period patient was treated with MOTRIN, ASA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: gastrointestinal haemorrhage. SALSALATE dosage: 750MG BID PRN. During the same period patient was treated with COLCHICINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following problems/side effects: cardiac enzymes increased, cardiac failure chronic, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hyperkalaemia, hypotension, musculoskeletal pain, pulmonary mass, renal failure acute. SALSALATE dosage: 500MG BID PRN PAIN PO. During the same period patient was treated with WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
