Sandostatin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from GERMANY on Sept 20, 2006. Male patient, 61 years of age, weighting 392.4 lb, was diagnosed with acromegaly and was treated with Sandostatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, dehydration, diarrhoea, disseminated intravascular coagulation, ileus, injection site abscess, multi-organ failure, muscle necrosis, necrotising fasciitis streptococcal. Sandostatin dosage: 30 MG. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
