This case suggests a potential Meptin Air Asthma side effect(s) that can have serious consequences. A 71-year-old patient from JAPAN (weight:NA) was diagnosed with the following health condition(s): asthma,peptic ulcer and used Meptin Air (dosage: NA) starting Aug 13, 2011. Soon after starting Meptin Air the patient began experiencing various side effects, including:
  • Lung Disorder
  • Cardiac Failure
  • Respiratory Failure
  • Bronchitis
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
  • Pneumonia
  • Asthma
Drugs used concurrently:
  • Mucosta
  • Levofloxacin
  • Prednisolone
  • Methylprednisolone Sodium Succinate
  • Methylprednisolone Sodium Succinate
  • Rocephin
  • Theo-dur
  • Mucosolvan L
  • The patient was hospitalized. Although Meptin Air demonstrated significant improvements in a number of clinically relevant cases, troublesome symptoms, such as Asthma, may still occur.

    This Disinhibition problem was reported by a pharmacist from JAPAN. A patient (weight: NA) was diagnosed with the following medical condition(s): NA.On Apr 01, 2009 a consumer started treatment with Meptin Air (dosage: Unk). The following health products were being taken at the same time:
  • Pravamate (Unk)
  • Theo Slow (Unk)
  • Kipres (Unk)
  • Myslee
  • Alcohol (2 Bottles Of Beer Daily)
  • Myslee
  • When commencing Meptin Air, the patient experienced the following unwanted symptoms /side effects:
    • Alcohol Interaction
    • Disinhibition
    • Mania
    • Overdose
    • Physical Assault
    The patient was hospitalized. Although all health products are carefully tested before they are licensed for use, they carry potential side effect risks. Some side effects, such as Disinhibition, may become evident only after a product is in use by the general population.

    A case of a patient (weight: NA) from JAPAN was presented. The patient developed the following symptoms/conditions: NA and was treated with Meptin (dosage: NA) starting Nov 01, 2010. Concurrently used drugs:
  • Mucodyne
  • Asverin
  • Klaricid Dry Syrup
  • Antibiotics-resistant Lactic Acid Bacteriae (lacb-r Pow)
  • Soon after that, the subject experienced the following of symptoms:
    • Pneumonia Bacterial
    • Hypothermia
    • Vomiting
    • Pallor
    This opens a possibility that Meptin could cause Hypothermia and that some subjects may be more susceptible.
