I'm on Metformin for PCOS and have severe chronic diarrhoea. Along with Stomach pain, Nausea and tiredness. I take it twice a day and have been on it for 2 months now. Doctor yesterday told me to have a trial period without it for 2 weeks and see if I still have any. Up to now nothing.

my mom was taking Metformin for about 2-3 months now and was complaining about loosing her appetite/ she was saying that she dont like to eat becos she cannot taste it at all.. she'll have to intake something just not to feel weak and avoid dropping her glucose that much! shes also complaining about having Nausea too.. i asks her to quit taking it for 3 days and see what the results would be, she just started last night and feel a lot better than having the medicine! still advise her to check other changes and we just might asks her doctor to prescibe new med for her condition..
