Metformin Shock Causes and Reviews


Shock happens when not enough blood and oxygen can get to your organs and tissues. It causes very low blood pressure and may be life-threatening. It often happens along with a serious injury.

There are several kinds of Shock. Hypovolemic Shock happens when you lose a lot of blood or fluids. Causes include internal or external bleeding, dehydration, burns, and severe vomiting and/or diarrhea. Septic Shock is caused by infections in the bloodstream. A severe allergic reaction can cause anaphylactic Shock. An insect bite or sting might cause it. Cardiogenic Shock happens when the heart cannot pump blood effectively. This may happen after a heart attack. Neurogenic Shock is caused by damage to the nervous system.

Symptoms of Shock include

I have the same suspicion, i took glucophage for few months and had gout. I stoped it for 3 years and never had any symptoms. Last year i started glucophage again and got gout again in couple of months?! I also think there is a connection, probably to certain body types?!

I'm on Metformin for PCOS and have severe chronic diarrhoea. Along with Stomach pain, Nausea and tiredness. I take it twice a day and have been on it for 2 months now. Doctor yesterday told me to have a trial period without it for 2 weeks and see if I still have any. Up to now nothing.

I have been taking Metformin 500 mg tablets, I have been taking for over a week 4 tablets a day 2 at night 2 in morning but have not been able to urinate properly, so I have stopped as I have small amounts of clotted blood come out my penis, has anyone ever had this happen to them ?
