Metoprolol Weight Decreased Causes and Reviews
Weight loss surgery helps people with extreme obesity to lose weight. It may be an option if you cannot lose weight through diet and exercise or have serious health problems caused by obesity.
There are different types of weight loss surgery. They often limit the amount of food you can take in. Some types of surgery also affect how you digest food and absorb nutrients. All types have risks and complications, such as infections, hernias, and blood clots.
Many people who have the surgery lose weight quickly, but regain some weight later on. If you follow diet and exercise recommendations, you can keep most of the weight off. You will also need medical follow-up for the rest of your life.

I have had heart Arrhythmias ? heart beats up to 200 bpm , when I workout , play ball, especially basketball and floorball. (had them for about 25 years) I can occationally get it if I bend down to pick something up, because I put pressure to my abdomon. The palpitations can last from 5 -10minutes to 45 min. usually. Usually goes away if I can lay down. I have now seen a doctor about this, and he is going to send me further to at heart clinic to find out what is happening. He gave me Metoprolol 50 mg a day, until I get in to the heart clinic. I have no high blood pressure. My question is....is Metoprolol the right type of beta block for me ?.....i didn't feel to good (abnormal) after taking 50 milligrams this morning. after 30 mins I started to feeel wierd and after about 1,5 hours I started to feel better. Should he have given me another type of beta blocker? Of what I have read there probably is other types that are for Arrhythmias ? |

All tests were monitored and GP and Cardiologists and not discribed in drug handouts provided. |

Severe reaction on my asthma, stomach, ulcers, ear infections, jitters, numbness, tingling, blurred vision, im sure there are 50 more i havent mentioned oh thats right quot;memory lossquot;, fatigue, constipation and or diarhea, there really should be a better beta blocker out there somewhere. I take this one for high blood pressure and i think i was better off with the high blood pressure. |

I have only taken Metoprolol for 2 days and I feel like I am suffocating. My muscles feel stiff and I have alot of heartburn. I also feel bloated and very uncomfortable. I will not take it anymore. I hate blood pressure medication! I was taking atenolol for months and had trouble concentrating, thinking, and remembering. I had no energy to do anything nor did I care if anything got done. My doctor tells me now that it effects the central nervous system. I wonder what else it effects! |

Fatigue was the biggest problem while taking Metoprolol. It was so bad that when I would come home from work I had to go straight to bed.I also had severe joint pains associated with this medication. I have since changed to Toprol XL, which has made a big difference. |
