I let my cat out in the morning to go play outside. My house is very secure. It has a big lawn for my cat to play in and thats the only place my cat goes. It's not like our front gate is always open. If I could describe my house I would but its way to complicated. My basic point is, she only stays in the lawn, thats it. Later on, When she came in, I found her front left paw/arm swollen. She walks on it, but slowly. When I touch it slightly , she doesn't get disturbed. I took her to the vet , and they vet told me to give her some Brufen syrup. I did so, and I think she's a little better now. She walking fine. But I'm afraid of the swelling. I'm not sure what caused it. And she can bend her paw. It looks like a loose dangling paw although. My top left wisdom tooth is growing, it has popped through my gum but that is causing a big infection on my bottom gum (which the wisdom tooth hasn't grown yet) and id causing a big infection because it is making a massive sore on my gum and on the side of my mouth. I have a whole on my gum. I have been taking different pain killers (naproxeno 500, brufen 1g, benuron) and none have done anything, i've tried warm saltwater and it just burned and ended up making in worse. My dad is a doctor himself and I recently got an ear infection from having the flu, so he gave Cefdinir that he'd taken a few years ago, which he had an allergic reaction to and didn't want. It hasn't been working, and I just went deaf in my ear from all of the fluid. I've been coughing and I've had a sore throat for about a week and a half now. I heard that when it's just coughing due to a cold that it usually goes away within the first few days but it hurts and I cough all day and I have to be given medicine at night so I don't cough and I can finally sleep. I went to a protest march today and we walked from Downing street to the israeli embassy and we walked quite a lot. My legs are now hurting a lot. My husband, 54 years had pain in right hand for 10 days, but last night he had acute pain in right hand side shoulder bone border. What it could be/ Is it symptom of heart attack? Ok for almost a week now I've had a swollen knee that has a dull ache to it. It started last Thursday whilst I was at work, I was fine one minute and the next i was in pain. I had tights on and trousers so I couldn't look at my leg until I got home 1 hour later. When I looked it was twice the size as the other knee and had little red rashey spots on. It started to hurt quite a bit that night but next morning it was a bit stiff but the swelling had gOne down and it wasn't hurting. I couldn't remember hitting it or hurting it. A couple of months ago I found a small blue mark on my finger that wouldn't rub off but after a few hours disappeared completely. Yesterday I also noticed about 7 marks on my leg in the same area, as if they were forming a line but spaced apart, about 0.5cm in width and maybe 2cm in length. There was also one bigger mark that was shaped like a '3'. I just went to my second root canal appointment and after he did some stuff and put another temporary filling until my next appointment, he prescribed me a painkiller because I'm supposed to feel pain. Brufen 400mg....3 times a day! I'm only 17 and the sound of that is really terrifiying! Is that an average painkiller prescription or is it too much?! And I already take a bunch of other medicines, a multi-vitamin tablet, Iron, and Folic Acid; Is it okay to take all these at once plus the brufen? What about when to take those 3 Brufen tablets, I'm a muslim and we're fasting this month everyday from 4AM till 7PM, so I have to take one table at 7PM when we're allowed to eat, one at around 12AM, and another at 4AM, is this okay or are they too close in time and could pose a problem? about 10 weeks ago is when it 1st started to hurt...got put on naproxen 500mg 2xdaily and 30/500mg cocodamol 8xdaily....these together didn't work so doctor then added amitripline but that didn't work.. then got out on tramadol 50mg 8xdaily paracetamol 500mg 8xdaily and naproxen 500mg 2xdaily and it worked...took the pain away..i carried on with physio and over the weeks it got much better...only needed 2xcocodamol and 2x brufen in morning. but on sunday its all flaired up again. As bad as last time (but this time i have numb feet) tramodol is not working this time and nor anything else. haven't sleep for 2 nights now. went to see a chiroprator as had a painful shoulder.on all 4 occassions he massaged my shoulder and cracked my neck and back.After the 4th session didn't feel so good,several days later I had a numbing in my head,couldn't stand up and felt faint.went to see dr who said it was a sprained neck and gave me co codamol and ibruprofen. co codamol were to strong and made me feel dunk and brufen played up my gastric reflux so am now only taking paracetamol.Muscles all feel tight and head is still a little wobbly although much better than t it originally was. How do I free up the muscles? Hello CAn anyone advise please, I have been diagnosed with avascular necrosis of navicular last year steming from kohlers Disease as a child. Last year the MR Scan showed collapse. However I decided not to opt for surgery due to wedding and family commitments. On Monday two weeks ago I have been unable to weight bear on my foot. I have been to my Doc who has refered me back to orthopeadics, but this appointment is not for another three weeks. He suggested not to attend A&E as this is a chronic problem. I explained that I cannot weight bear etc but he is not concerned. He prescribed analgesia Codine 30-60mg four daily. This is totally wiping me out so I have reverted to take Paracetmol & Brufen, Any suggestions or shall I just attend A&E regardless Thanks >>More<<

I had a knife injury to the palm of my left hand 3 days ago, quite a bit of blood, but stopped after a couple of mins. I felt o.k, but after ten or so minutes, I felt severe pain in my middle and ring finger, I was concerned as my hand started to swell also. My partner took me to a + e and it was dipped in iodine and then the hand surgeons came to see me. They asked me to bend and straighten each finger and press down and up, and so on (all the questions they ask) it was extremely painful, but they concluded that there did not seem to be any tendon damage. I came home with antibiotics and told to take paracetamol and brufen. It's 3 days later and I have massive bruising, still swollen especially just underneath fingers, I am also getting pins and needles (sometimes), pain and a burning sensation. I have to get jaw surgery for my overbite in a few months. I had a scan yesterday because i've have a lump in the arch of my foot for over 6 months. I was told i have got a hernia on the plantar fascia. I now have to wait between 7 and 10 days for my results to go back to my doctor. What kind of treatment could i get for this? Ive tried to google it but ive not found anything that can help me. I just got my wisdom tooth extracted under local anesthetic. Everything went fine, no pain and the sounds wasn't really that bad. I got my anesthetic, I were given a ibuprofen before starting and gargled in Chlorhexidine (I think it was 0.2%). I was given some ibuprofen pills I could take with me home, it's 600mg and it states I should only take 3 a day as a max. She recommended me to take one when the anesthetic starts to wear off, but I were given one right before the extraction (2 hours ago), so how many hours should pass before I have to take one again? Simple math reveals I should take one every 8 hour, but do I have to wait the 6 more hours before I take another ibuprofen? >>More<<
